// IT & Cybersecurity Portfolio
Future cybersecurity professional with a background in emergency services — bringing resilience, sharp problem-solving, and technical depth to every challenge.
I'm Emily Fowler, a BS in Cybersecurity candidate at Western Governors University and a CompTIA A+ certified technician. I was also accepted into the National Honors Society as a WGU student. My path into tech is anything but ordinary. I spent years working in emergency medical services, where I learned that high-stakes decisions, clear communication, and staying calm under pressure are not just useful qualities but essential ones.
That mindset now drives everything I do in IT. Whether I am analyzing a network trace in Wireshark, building a security awareness tool, or studying for my next certification, I bring the same focus and adaptability that EMS demanded.
I am actively looking for entry-level IT and cybersecurity opportunities where I can contribute, grow, and protect systems that matter. Read more in my Mission Statement →
